Overview of Services Provided to Members
The services provided to ABCA members are summarized below.
- Puppy/Dog registrations
- Transfers of ABCA registrations to new owners
- Registration of pups/dogs from certain other registries
- Notations of clear eye and hip results on ABCA certificates
- Replacement of lost certificates
Register on Merit Program
Dogs lacking pedigree information that would normally be required for ABCA registration may use the ROM program to obtain ABCA registration. A dog must meet certain criteria, test clear of hip and eye problems and demonstrate sufficient working abilities to qualify.
Members may apply for funding of large scale projects, such as health clinics or research studies, that benefit the Border Collie.
Promotional Money Program
Members may apply for funding for events, such as training clinics, exhibitions, stockdog competitions that promote the working Border Collie.
