  • Website refers to the ABCA Website,
  • You means the individual accessing the Website.

  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Usage Data is information about the activity on the Website. It does not include personal data.

Website Purpose and Scope

The ABCA is a 501(c)5 non-profit membership organization.  It offers services to its members and information related to its mission to both members and non-members.  The Website serves to provide information about the ABCA and the services it provides.  This includes:

  • The mission, governing documents, and organizational structure of the ABCA
  • Contact information of officers and committees
  • Information about past and future activities and business
  • Information on the programs & services offered and how to use them
  • Information related to the mission

What the Website does not do:

The ABCA does not offer any services or sell any products using the website.  This includes applying for membership.  These must all be done by mail, email or phone.  As such, the Website has no provision for entering or submitting personal or financial information.  The Website does not allow for online user accounts or have any subscription options.

Personal Data

The Website does not collect any personal data.  A such, the use, security, retention, transfer, and disclosure of personal data are not covered in this policy.

Usage Data

The Website collects usage data to help understand how it is being used and to guide future enhancements.  Usage data is collected automatically when someone visits the website.  This data includes which pages are visited, when and for how long, and how You arrived at those pages.  It may also include information such as Your Device’s IP address, browser type, browser version, operating system, and unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.  The Website uses both Cookies and Google Analytics to collect usage data.   All usage data collected is anonymous.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and analyses website traffic.  The data collected may be shared with other Google services and Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Website available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
