  • Founded the United States Border Collie Club
  • Served as ABCA and USBCHA Director
  • Director of the Virginia Border Collie Association

SERVICE TO WORKING BORDER COLLIE COMMUNITY

  • Held first handlers clinic (1976) and first judging seminar (1983) in North America
  • Campaigned vigorously against the Border Collie becoming a conformation breed
  • Introduced many people to the Border Collie though numerous exhibitions and demonstrations

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND AWARDS

  • Inducted in to the VBCA Hall of Fame
  • Appearances on national TV promoting the Working Border Collie
  • Regular trial competitor, owned & handled Virginia and Pennsylvania Champions
  • One of the first woman sheepdog handlers in North America
